Kigerfest 2010
Deven and Mustang Indy competed in the 2010 Kigerfest at Sacramento Horseman's Association. It was Indy's only show since the 2008 Ft. Worth, TX Mustang Makeover and we had no idea what to expect. It was a long hot day with many classes; but what a great time! By day's end Saturday, Indy had won Western Mustang Champion and Western Open High Point! It was a lot of work and a lot of fun! Can't wait to do it again this year.
Meet Our Family:
Deven and Michele have three children, Austin, LeeAnn and Caitlin who are all off in the world making their way. Austin is a part-owner of several businesses, LeeAnn is about to come home after 5 years in the military and will be off to college in the fall. Caitlin is about to graduate from college and will be off on her newest adventure.
It's just Deven and Michele at home now if you don't count all the horses, dogs and of course the cat. No time for an empty nest. We spend a lot of time working with students and their horses which is our first choice. Chores at home, arena work and trail rides get squeezed in whenever possible.

Deven likes to have as many clinics and work days as possible. In addition to having at least a horse or two in full time training and his private lessons schedule at various locations we are adding weekly mini-clinics to the Rio Linda/Elverta Parks and Recreation arena calendar and regular weekly group and private lessons at Sacramento Horseman's Association. If you get a chance these can be great ways to tune up your horse or get more control out of any horse. Watch for dates on our calendar.
